Richard Alonso

Rich Alonso is an experienced environmental law attorney currently serving as Associate General Counsel at HF Sinclair in Dallas, TX, providing legal guidance on matters related to the company’s midstream and downstream assets. Previously, Rich managed the U.S. environmental department at Cenovus Energy, overseeing staff at multiple refineries and leading interactions with environmental regulators. Rich has held key roles at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, where they served as Chief of the Stationary Source Enforcement Branch, and in private practice, advising clients on complex environmental compliance issues.
