Sam King

Sam King is a faculty member at the Sol Price School of Public Policy, University of Southern California, since July 2016, focusing on enhancing life quality through education and research. Sam serves as Co-Chair of the CIO Forum at HIMSS SoCal and holds multiple educational roles, including Industry Fellow and Chair of Digital Healthcare at UC Irvine, and adjunct professor positions at the University of Redlands, National University, and Chapman University. As a faculty member at The Jonathan and Karin Fielding School of Public Health at UCLA, Sam contributes to public health education while also leading King's Consulting as Managing Principal since 2000. Additionally, Sam has held various leadership roles within HIMSS Southern California, including President from July 2011 to June 2012. Education includes an MBA from the University of California, Irvine, and an MPH from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
