Chris Ross

Chris Ross currently serves as the Head of Portfolio Growth at Hg, leading a team that focuses on enhancing go-to-market functions across sales, marketing, customer success, and pricing for portfolio companies. Previously, Chris held the position of Non-Executive Director at M2A Media, which specializes in cloud-based live video products. Chris's extensive experience includes roles as the Chief Revenue Officer at Barracuda, where responsibilities encompassed safeguarding customer data and driving international sales growth, and as VP Worldwide Sales at Arcserve, where strategic sales initiatives were implemented. Additional leadership roles were held at CA Technologies, Bakbone Software, Symantec, PowerQuest Corporation, Lernout & Hauspie Speech Products, and Quarterdeck Corporation. Chris Ross received a BA (Hons) in Modern Languages & Information Systems from the University of the West of England.
