Joe Vilain

Joe Vilain is an experienced chemistry professional with a career spanning over 15 years. Currently serving as Chemistry Manager and Project Chemist at HydroGeoLogic, Inc. since August 2007, Joe leads data validation, validation review, and ADR for groundwater and soil sampling projects, and is actively engaged in soil, groundwater, and air sampling. Prior to this role, Joe worked as a Postdoctoral Associate and Postdoctoral Formulations Chemist at the American Society for Engineering Education and the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, respectively, focusing on propellants and explosives. Joe earned a Ph.D. in Organometallic Chemistry from The University of Kansas and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Rockhurst University.
