Karsten Kinzig

Chief Procurement Officer at HH2E

Karsten Kinzig has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Karsten is currently the Chief Procurement Officer at HH2E, where they are involved in building next-gen power plants and supplying green hydrogen in Germany and beyond. Before Vodafone, Karsten worked at Strategy&, part of the PwC network, where they specialized in rapid cost reduction, sourcing, operations, and supply chain transformation. Overall, Karsten brings extensive experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, category management, and global transformation.

Karsten Kinzig obtained a Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from Technische Universität Berlin, where they studied from 1992 to 1998. Afterwards, in 2003 to 2005, they pursued postgraduate studies in Business Administration at EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Recht. In 1995 to 1996, Karsten participated in an Exchange Programme at Sophia University, focusing on a Master of Business Administration. Karsten also holds additional certifications, including "Unconscious Bias" obtained from LinkedIn in January 2021 and "Giving and Receiving Feedback" obtained from LinkedIn in May 2020.
