Chartese D. Torrence

Chartése D. Torrence, M.B.A., is the Director of the Office of Public Affairs and Communications at the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC). In this role, Chartése provides executive oversight for ONC’s communication efforts, emphasizing stakeholder engagement and media relations. With over a decade of experience leading public education campaigns for major companies and associations, Chartése has specialized expertise in health care communication. Chartèse also serves as an adjunct faculty member at Georgetown University School of Continuing Studies. Chartése holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor of Arts in International Business from George Mason University.
