Joseph Simons

Joseph Simons is a Senior Advisor for Enterprise Risk Management at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), where they support ERM initiatives in the ASFR Immediate Office. Previously, Joseph held roles at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, including Acting Section Chief and Lead Analyst, and they managed the Enterprise Risk Management Program at FirstNet. Joseph has developed advanced risk assessment methodologies and facilitated decision-making processes at multiple government agencies. They are currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Political Science at Penn State University, having received a Bachelor’s Degree in the same field from the University of Michigan.
