Pete Chen

Pete Chen is an experienced Information Security Specialist currently leading Cybersecurity Operations at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services since 2021. With a robust background in cybersecurity, Pete previously served as the Splunk Practice Team Lead at TekStream Solutions, overseeing a team and consulting on various projects. Prior roles include managing hosted environments at TekStream Solutions and working as a Solutions Analyst and IT Manager at Idhasoft and Century Mortgage Corporation, respectively. Pete began a career in technology with roles such as Circuit Rider at the Southern States Energy Board and Database Project Manager at InfoNXX, Inc. Pete holds a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice/Criminology from the University of Maryland.
