James Hernandez

James Hernandez is the current VP of Learning & Development at HHS. James previously worked for the Hyatt Hotels Corporation from December 1981 to June 1989. During their time there, they served as a rooms division executive and was responsible for management of departments including guest services, housekeeping, laundry and linen, front desk, transportation, communications, contract services, public areas and concierge. James also opened multiple new Hyatt Hotel properties and held many positions specializing in rooms division, ranging from 400 to 1100 room properties. These positions included Asst Reservations Manager, Asst Front Office Manger, Asst Executive Housekeeping Manager, Director of Public Areas, Front Office Manager, Reservations Manager, Executive Housekeeping Director, and Asst Rooms Executive.

James Hernandez has a degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Houston. James also has a degree from Galveston College in the same subject.
