Hi Kent is a registered charity helping people to live well with hearing loss in Kent. Hi Kent provides support, equipment and skills to help with people with hearing loss to improve their communication, independence and quality of life.

Our services include the following:

- Assessments of need for people in the Kent County Council area providing information, advice and assistive equipment  based on need
- a full range of assistive equipment at our Resource Centres in Maidstone and Canterbury, which you can try out to decide which item best meets your needs (please make an appointment for this)
- if you have equipment needs that are not eligible for free provision following assessment, we will be happy to supply such items at modest cost. (We are a not-for-profit organisation.)
- a network of more than 200 hearing aid aftercare clinics in towns, villages and communities all over Kent, where people can have NHS hearing aids cleaned, retubed and replacement batteries supplied and fitted, all of which is free of charge and no appointments necessary
- lipreading Classes Online, free to participants
- British Sign Language classes - Signature Levels 1 and 2 and taster classes
- Deaf Awareness courses for front-line staff, individuals, schools - tailored to requirements
- Tinnitus Support Groups - monthly online plus face to face groups across Kent and into East Sussex 
- Social Groups for people with hearing loss - groups across the county bringing people together with similar issues to provide mutual support
- Technology support - helping people to use assistive equipment and access technology such as BlueTooth and Apps
