Hiber develops advanced tissue stabilization technology and infrastructure to enable biomedical research and long-term biological information preservation.

We are building a platform for the rapid procurement, stabilization, and structured archiving of human tissue samples. By combining rapid donor access, controlled post-mortem intervals, and proprietary vitrification and cryopreservation technologies, Hiber provides research-grade human tissue with preserved structural and functional integrity.

Our platform enables researchers to access high-quality human neural tissue samples, including vitrified neocortex slices, fresh tissue, snap-frozen samples, and region-specific biospecimens accompanied by detailed metadata. This transforms rare human samples into a scalable and schedulable translational research resource.

At the same time, Hiber is building a new infrastructure around post-mortem biosampling. Through partnerships with funeral services, hospitals, and hospices, we establish rapid response procurement systems that allow medically supervised tissue sampling shortly after death.

This enables three core applications:
