Hibernation Post is a full-service post house dedicated to serving independent feature filmmakers at every stage of post — from footage processing and editorial support through color grading, finishing, mastering, and long-term archival.

Founded by filmmaker and DI colorist Ryan Graves, Hibernation Post was built with indie filmmakers in mind. Ryan's experience writing, directing, and self-distributing his own feature film gave him a firsthand understanding of what indie filmmakers actually need from a post-production partner — and what the industry too often fails to deliver.

Our services are designed for the realities of independent film budgets and timelines, without compromising on the quality of the final product.

Color grading — From commercial campaigns to indie features, we bring a filmmaker's eye to every grade. Credits include work for Microsoft, the NBA, Intel, and Gatorade, as well as feature films including Raging Midlife (starring Eddie Griffin & Paula Abdul), Wake Up Maggie (dir. Katie Prentiss, Sundance Cohort), and Skweezy Jibbs Makes A Movie (Produced by David Cress)

Mastering & finishing — Theatrical DCP, IMF for OTT/VOD, HDR, and web deliverables, crafted to spec for any distribution path.

Storage & archival — Managed hot and cold storage built for feature-length workflows, plus dedicated LTO tape archiving — the Hollywood standard for long-term project security.

Based in Portland, Oregon. Serving filmmakers worldwide.
