Uzay Macar

Uzay Macar has held various positions throughout their work experience. In 2016, they worked as a Technical Evangelist Intern at Microsoft and later that year, as a Research Intern at ODTÜ's Intelligent Systems Lab. In 2018, they started working as a Research Assistant at Columbia University, a position they held until 2021. In 2019, Uzay Macar was a Machine Learning Engineer Intern at Alterna CX. In 2021, they joined Mila - Quebec Artificial Intelligence Institute as a Research Assistant, where they remained until 2022. In the same year, they were a Co-Founder and CTO at Nodr, before moving on to become a Founder in Residence at Entrepreneur First in 2022. Finally, Uzay Macar became the Co-Founder and CTO of Hibi in December 2022.

Uzay Macar has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science (major) and Applied Mathematics (minor) from Columbia University. Uzay attended Robert College for high school. Additionally, Uzay has obtained several certifications, including UX Design Specialization from Google in May 2023, React Native and Redux from Udemy in April 2023, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in May 2022, and Deep Learning Specialization from Coursera in June 2018.
