Eric Vila

Eric Vila has extensive experience in product marketing and management within the authentication devices sector, currently serving as the Director of Authentication Devices at HID Global since November 2011. Prior to this, Eric served as the Director of Authentication Devices at ActivIdentity from 2004 to 2011, overseeing global product management and engineering operations. Earlier roles include Product Manager for Devices and Smart Cards at ActivCard and Embedded Software Director at ActivCard, where responsibilities encompassed product strategy, pricing, and software development for handheld devices. Eric's career commenced at SECMAT NT as a Production Control Manager and included project management for home/building automation products at SFEE. Educational credentials include an International Executive MBA from The International School of Management and multiple engineering degrees in electronics and real-time information processing.
