Michael Serafin

Michael Serafin has extensive experience in engineering and management within the physical access control solutions industry, currently serving as VP of Engineering at HID Global since October 2017. Prior to this role, Michael held various leadership positions, including Vice President of Engineering and Director of Software Development at Mercury Security Products, LLC from July 2011 to October 2017. Michael's career began at Lenel Systems International, where significant contributions were made as Director of Quality Assurance, Director of Software Development, and Senior Software Engineer from 2001 to 2011. Michael holds a Master of Science degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering and a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering, both from Michigan State University.
