Pedro Silva is a seasoned hardware engineer with over 30 years of experience in the electronics industry. Currently employed at HID Global since October 2019, Pedro previously held the position of Research and Development Manager at PFK Electronics (Pty) Ltd from September 2017 to October 2019. Prior to that, Pedro worked as a Hardware Specialist at Altech Multimedia from September 2000 to August 2017, focusing on set-top box hardware design. Pedro’s career began as an Electronics Engineer at Inhep Electronics from July 1991 to September 2000, where expertise in hardware and firmware development was developed. Pedro holds a National Higher Diploma in Electronics Engineering from Natal Technikon, earned between 1988 and 1994.
