Tom Widegren

Tom Widegren is a seasoned professional in product management and business development, currently serving as the Director of Product Management Excellence at HID Global since June 2014. In this role, Tom drives product management initiatives within the HID Global Identity and Access Management Services business area. Prior to this, Tom held multiple leadership positions, including Senior Director of Product Management and Director of Cloud Services Coordination for Physical Access Control, where responsibilities included managing PACS-related Cloud Services offerings. Tom has extensive experience in sales and account management from roles at HID Global and ActivIdentity, focusing on the Nordic and Sub-Saharan African markets. Earlier career roles included Product Manager at Smartjac and Business Development Manager at Gemplus, where Tom specialized in government and healthcare sectors. Tom holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from KTH Royal Institute of Technology and completed military training with the Royal Swedish Air Force.
