Michael Trachsler

Senior RF Engineer at Hidden Level

Michael Trachsler has been working in the engineering field since 2004. Michael began their career as an Electrical Engineering Intern/Coop at Plug Power. In 2005, they began working at SRC as an RF Engineer and Systems Engineer, where they were responsible for testing and integration, production support, simulation of signal processing chains, and system level troubleshooting. In 2014, Michael moved to Gryphon Sensors, LLC as an Engineer, where they worked on RF receiver/exciter designs, part selection, evaluation, RF budgeting, electromagnetic simulation, power system design, and PCB stackup. In 2018, they returned to SRC as a Senior RF Design Engineer, where they were responsible for RF receiver/exciter redesign for lower sub-clutter visibility requirements and improved temperature performance. Michael also worked closely with software engineering to design, debug, and improve python test applications used in the low rate production of a multichannel radar receiver/exciter board. In 2019, Michael joined Hidden Level Inc. as a Senior RF Engineer.

Michael Trachsler completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 2005. Michael then went on to receive a Master of Science (MS) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2010.
