Alexei D

Alexei D. has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries.

Alexei started their career as a Software Developer at Capital Wireless Information Net in 2005. From 2006 to 2008, they worked as a Vice President at Bear Stearns, where they were responsible for developing and maintaining daily reporting tools for the Fixed Income business.

In 2008, they joined Goldman Sachs as a Vice President in the Fixed Income Technology team, where they played a crucial role in the architecture, development, and maintenance of front office trading systems utilized globally. Alexei also led initiatives to implement financial regulation reforms and leverage new technologies.

In 2016, Alexei founded and became the CEO of Alando Solutions LLC, a company focused on algorithmic day trading solutions. Alexei designed and implemented futures trading algorithms and a dynamic testing framework, utilizing languages such as Java, C#, and WPF.

From 2017 to 2023, they worked at Twitter, initially as a Staff Software Engineer and later as an Engineering Manager. Alexei led multiple large virtual teams and contributed significantly to expanding Twitter's data center and cloud presence. Alexei also played a key role in the development of internal tools for the Sales Organization and was responsible for computation of Twitter's ad revenue and payment processing solutions for SMBs.

Most recently, in 2023, Alexei joined Hidden Road as a Software Engineer.

Alexei D. attended the University of Maryland from 2001 to 2005, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
