Nissa Cheng

Nissa Cheng has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Nissa started their career as a LINK Classroom Assistant at The Village Learning Place, where they assisted a third and fourth-grade teacher with classroom activities and curriculum work. From 2010 to 2014, Nissa worked as a Student at Johns Hopkins University while also serving as a Student Assistant at both Homewood Museum and Evergreen Museum and Library.

In 2013, Nissa was a Robert and Nancy Hall Fellow at the Walters Art Museum before joining The Metropolitan Museum of Art as an Intern. Nissa then worked at Sotheby's, starting as a Trainee in 2014 and progressing to roles such as Administrator and Senior Administrator in the Impressionist & Modern Art departments. From 2018 to 2021, Nissa held positions as an Associate Business Manager and later as an Assistant Vice President, Business Manager at Sotheby's.

Most recently, Nissa worked as an Assistant Vice President, Business Director at Sotheby's from February to October 2021. Nissa is currently employed as an Office Manager at Hidden Variable Studios starting in September 2022.

Nissa Cheng completed their high school education at Woodbridge High School from 2006 to 2010, where they obtained their High School Diploma. Nissa then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Classics and Museum Studies at The Johns Hopkins University from 2010 to 2014.
