Gary McAlum

Gary McAlum is a seasoned technology risk executive and recognized cybersecurity leader with extensive military and corporate experience. Currently, McAlum serves as a Senior Advisor at Oliver Wyman and as Faculty at the Institute for Applied Network Security, contributing deep expertise in cybersecurity and risk management. Previously, McAlum held the position of Chief Security Officer and Senior Vice President of Enterprise Security at USAA and has advised various organizations, including AIG and TAG Cyber LLC. With a distinguished military career as a Colonel in the United States Air Force, McAlum is noted for significant contributions to cybersecurity operations and strategy. They hold multiple degrees and certifications, including a Master's in Management Information Systems from the University of Arizona and are an active member of the FBI CISO Academy.
