Julian Collado is a highly experienced data scientist currently serving as a Staff Data Scientist at HiddenLayer since December 2023. Previously, Julian worked at BlackBerry from April 2021 to December 2023, and held data science positions at Electronic Arts and Blizzard Entertainment in 2019 and 2018, respectively. Prior experience includes a role as a Data Scientist at Cylance Inc. and as a Software Engineer at Canon USA, where Julian developed an image classification system and submitted multiple invention disclosures. Additionally, Julian contributed to academia as an Adjunct Professor at the Universidad de Costa Rica from March 2013 to July 2014. Julian holds a PhD in Computer Science from UC Irvine and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the University of Costa Rica.
