Alex Levy

Alex Levy has a long history of experience in software engineering and development. Starting in 2011, they interned as an Information Systems Intern at M&G. In 2014, they worked as a Software Developer at M&G, using TDD to work on a Java message-based integration platform. Later in 2014, they worked as a Software Engineer at Winton Group, using C# (.NET Core), JavaScript (React), and SQL Server. In 2019, they returned to Hivemind as a Software Engineer, where they created a text annotation tool for usage in NLP tasks, built a React drag-and-drop form designer, and rewrote the .NET Core back-end results download mechanism using SignalR. In 2020, they worked as a Software Developer at OpenRent, where they designed, lead, and built a multitude of new features for their ~4 million users. Currently, they are a Senior Full Stack Engineer at HIFI.

Alex Levy attended the University of Southampton from 2009 to 2012, where they obtained a BSc. (Hons) in Computer Science.
