Thomas Jerde

Data Science Vice President at HIFI

Thomas Jerde has a long work history, beginning in 2003 as a Research Assistant at Harvard University Psychology Department. In 2009, they became a Freelance Scientific Programmer & Consultant. From 2011 to 2017, they worked at Knack.it as a Senior Data Scientist and R&D Manager. In 2017, they began working at Winton Group as a Data Scientist, and also started at The Music Fund as CTO. In 2021, they became the Data Science Vice President at HIFI.

Thomas Jerde's education history includes a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music and Philosophy from Brown University, obtained between 1998 and 2003, as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience from Brown University, obtained between 1998 and 2003. Thomas then attended Princeton University in 2003 and completed a two-semester credit summer program in Chinese Language. Jerde went on to obtain a Master of Science degree in Neurosciences from Stanford University between 2004 and 2009. Additionally, they have obtained two certifications: a Machine Learning Engineering for Production (MLOps) Specialization from Coursera in September 2021, and a Check out my Knacks! certification from Knack.it.
