John Schmidt

John Schmidt has a diverse work experience in the insurance and financial services industry. John started their career in 1986 at EPS Employee Benefits, where they worked as an Employee Benefit Broker/Partner for 26 years. In 2012, John joined TrueNorth Companies as an Employee Benefits Advisor and served in that role for 9 years. Currently, John is working at Higginbotham as the Vice President of Employee Benefits, a position they assumed in February 2022. At Higginbotham, they are responsible for leading and managing the company's employee benefits division, offering various services such as business insurance, retirement plans, life insurance, and benefit plan administration.

John Schmidt attended The University of Texas at Arlington - College of Business from 1975 to 1980, where they earned a degree in Marketing. John also holds a certification as a Register Health Underwriter (RHU).
