Joy Simpson

Joy Simpson has a diverse work experience in the insurance industry. Joy started their career at AIG as an Administrative Assistant in 2005 and worked there until 2007. From 2007 onwards, they joined Higginbotham and held various roles. Joy started as a Select Commercial Marketing Executive and worked in this position until 2015. Joy then became an Associate in the Business Insurance department and held this role until 2021. From 2022 to 2022, they were a Vice President in the Business Insurance division. Currently, they are serving as the Executive Vice President of Business Insurance at Higginbotham, starting in 2023.

Joy Simpson earned a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Fine and Studio Arts from Texas Woman's University. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate education at The University of Texas at Arlington, where they obtained a degree in Fine Arts with a focus on Photography. In addition to their academic achievements, Joy obtained a certification as a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) from The National Alliance for Insurance Education and Research in 2011.
