Founder Rick Li remembers the very day he decided to start High Efficiency Heating & Cooling. 
As a top salesperson for a large HVAC company at the time, he thrived on being the best. However, the service and installation team at the company didn’t have the same drive to excel. Rick found himself in the terrible position of breaking a promise to a customer.
He was just a salesperson at the time, so he had no influence over the service and installation department. Rick left work frustrated that day, and he decided to do something about it.  
That day he vowed to only work with quality people who had the same high standards of service as him—people who kept their word, strove to do their best every single day, and valued their hard-earned reputations for being “good guys.” 
And that’s how High Efficiency Heating & Cooling was born.
