High On Sound is a new weekly podcast dedicated to the people who are quietly, and sometimes radically, changing how the world listens and understands sound. From open‑ear headphones to medical hearing solutions, from spatial audio to sound‑guided navigation, listening is no longer a passive act – it is being designed, engineered, tested, and reimagined across industries. High On Sound steps into this space to document that transformation through in‑depth, human conversations.

Hosted by Pedro Costa, founder of Auricle and an acoustics engineer, the show is rooted in both technical expertise and real‑world experience. Pedro’s work spans hearing aids, personal audio, and open‑ear listening experiences, including products like Auricle’s awareONE, which is designed to keep listeners connected to their surroundings while delivering a clear listening experience. This background shapes the questions he asks and the way each conversation connects product, research, and the lived experience of listening.

Each episode features a guest with deep expertise in their field: audio engineering, hearing health, product development, user research, sound strategy, publishing, and more. Guests range from those designing hardware and software to those analyzing markets, advising teams, and challenging how we think about sound in daily life. These are the people building, studying, testing, and explaining the technologies and ideas that will define the future of sound.

High On Sound is created for professionals and curious minds across audio, hearing, tech, and product design who want to stay close to these conversations. If you are working on new listening experiences, hearing solutions, or sound‑driven products – or if you simply want to understand where sound is heading – this podcast is an invitation to listen in. And if you believe your work, research, or story should be part of this series, you are welcome to reach out and join the conversation.
