Dan Kaufman has extensive work experience in the game industry. Dan started their career at Take 2 Interactive/Mission Studios in 1994 as a Senior Programmer/Game Designer, where they were part of a team responsible for developing several successful flight simulators. Dan then joined Headgate Studios/EA Sports in 2001 as a Senior Programmer, where they contributed to the PGA Championship/Tiger Woods golf games. After that, they joined High Voltage Software in 2003 as a Senior Programmer Team Lead, working on various aspects of game development. Dan later became the Software Development Director, overseeing multiple game projects and managing a team of programmers. As Lead Programmer, they worked on a wide range of genres and platforms using various technologies. Throughout their career, Dan has demonstrated expertise in graphics, rendering, gameplay, engine development, and simulation.

Dan Kaufman has a solid educational background, with degrees in both finance and business management. Dan obtained their Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana University Bloomington, where they studied finance from 1986 to 1990. Dan later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business from 1992 to 1994, focusing on business management, finance, and economics. Before their university education, they completed their high school education at Horton Watkins High School from 1982 to 1986.
