HighBridge Audio is an RBmedia company. RBmedia is owned by KKR, a leading global investment firm, and employs nearly 500 people.

HighBridge was founded by Minnesota Public Radio in the early 1980s to produce and distribute recordings of Garrison Keillor's A Prairie Home Companion. Since then, we have become a leading spoken-word audio publisher of New York Times bestsellers, up-market fiction and nonfiction, bookseller classics, Academy Award winners, Oprah’s Book Club titles, Reese Witherspoon favorites, and more. Our titles have been selected as finalists or winners for the Pulitzer Prize, National Book Award, National Books Critics Circle Award, Booker Prize, Edgar Award, and the PEN/Faulkner Award for Fiction. HighBridge has built a reputation among booksellers and audiophiles as one of the industry’s highest-quality audio publishers.
