Eric V. Martin

Eric V. Martin is the Executive Vice President at the Higher Learning Commission, a position held since 2020, with a history of roles including Vice President and Chief of Staff. Previously, they served in various leadership positions at Governors State University from 2001 to 2010, culminating as Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences. Their academic career began as an Assistant Professor of English at The University of Findlay from 1996 to 1999. Eric is also pursuing ongoing professional development through certificates in Continuing Education. They hold a Doctor of Arts in English Studies-Rhetoric and Composition from Illinois State University, completed in 1995.
