Alec Whitters

Alec Whitters is the Co-Founder, President, and CEO of Higher Learning Technologies. Alec has over ten years of experience in sales, marketing, and management. Prior to Higher Learning Technologies, Alec was the Inside Sales Manager at YellGlobal from September 2010 to July 2011. Alec was responsible for face-to-face and telephone sales for direct mail, SEO, SEM, print, and mobile. Alec was ranked #2 in sales out of 150 reps at the time they left.

Alec received their undergraduate degree from the University of Iowa in August 2009 and completed their dental degree in May 2012. While at the University of Iowa, Alec was a professional student. In January 2009, Alec took a semester at sea where they lived on a ship for five months and sailed around the world. This experience changed the way they see everything.

Alec Whitters attended Xavier High School and then went on to study at the University of Iowa, where they earned their Doctor of Dental Science. Alec then took a semester at sea before returning to the University of Iowa to complete their education.
