Ravi Patel

Ravi Patel has had a diverse and successful career. In 2006, they became the President of Hawkeye Hotels, one of the fastest growing, privately-owned hotel companies in the country. Since joining Hawkeye Hotels, they have personally overseen development or acquisition of over 50 hotels with total raised capital exceeding $1. In 2013, they became the Co-Founder/Lead Investor of BuiltByIowa, an early to mid-stage business fund/incubator. Ravi also joined Higher Learning Technologies as a Board of Directors/Lead Investor, helping to raise over $1 million in initial seed funding. That same year, they joined TelePharm as a Board of Director/Lead Investor. In 2015, they became a Candidate for 1st Congressional District in Iowa, running as a self-described pro-growth progressive.

Ravi Patel attended The University of Iowa Tippie College of Business, where they obtained a degree in Management and Entrepreneurship.
