Michael Shim

Michael Shim has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Michael started their career as a Supply Sales Manager at OMNI Business Systems-FaxPlus, Inc. in 2007. From there, they transitioned to Betis Group, where they served as a Project Analyst and later as the Manager of Purchasing. In 2014, they joined National Capitol Contracting, LLC as a Procurement Analyst. In 2015, they joined Higher Logic and held various roles including Implementation Project Manager, Implementation Team Lead, Technical Project Manager, and eventually Senior Technical Project Manager. Currently, they hold the position of Principal Project Manager at Higher Logic. Throughout their career, Michael has demonstrated a strong understanding of project management and procurement.

Michael Shim holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from George Mason University (2011-2014) and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Business Administration and Management from Virginia Commonwealth University (2002-2007). Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) and Advanced Certified ScrumMaster (A-CSM) from Scrum Alliance (obtained in November 2022), as well as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) from Scrum Alliance (obtained in November 2019).
