Katie MacMaster

Katie MacMaster is an Exploration Geologist currently contracted with Onyx Gold Corp. at the Timmins-Porcupine camp in Ontario since October 2023, and also works with HighGold Mining Inc. at the Johnson Tract Project in Alaska since May 2021. Prior experience includes a seasonal role as a Tree Planter with Summit Reforestation & Forest Management LTD. from May 2018 to April 2022, and serving as President of the Queen's University Climbing Club from May 2019 to March 2020, where responsibilities involved managing the executive team and organizing trips. Katie completed geological field course work at Queen's University, where extensive study focused on the stratigraphy and tectonic evolution of Eastern North America. A Bachelor of Science degree in Geology/Earth Science was earned at Queen's University from 2016 to 2020, complemented by management experience as a Lodge Manager at Canoe North Adventures in Norman Wells, NWT during the summers of 2016 and 2017.
