We are university students from Saint Louis Madrid. We developed Highlight You so that no other students with special needs face the challenges that we faced during our college application process. Questions like “Will I fit in?” Or “how do I decide which option is best for me?” “What am I required to submit as part of my Special Needs Application?” What schools are good at offering the academic accommodation I need?” We have been there, it feels as though there aren’t enough people to guide you through one of the biggest decisions in your life, not only academically but also financially and mentally. We developed an app and website that connects students with special needs to college admissions counselors who specialize in supporting them through the college application process. Guiding you through the pros and cons of each of your options, then helping you prepare your college essay and personal statement. This will also help you gather the necessary documents, like your diagnosis, additional support letters, and more, for your application. They will guide you on what you need to do to give yourself the best chance of getting into a university that will highlight you and unleash your potential.
