David Zimmerman is an experienced program manager currently leading the Social Determinants of Health team at Highmark Health, focusing on strategic planning and execution to enhance health outcomes. With a background in Enterprise Risk & Governance, David has held roles as a Lead Knowledge Strategy Analyst and Senior Internal Audit Analyst, where responsibilities included developing knowledge-sharing processes and conducting operational audits. Prior to Highmark Health, David worked at Baker Tilly Virchow Krause, LLP, as a Senior Accountant and Staff Accountant, gaining extensive experience in audit engagements across various industries. David holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting and Finance, as well as a Master of Business Administration from Duquesne University.
