Dawna Gardner

Dawna Gardner, CIPP/US, has extensive experience in privacy program administration and risk operations within the healthcare sector. Since December 2015, Dawna has served as the Director of Privacy Program Administration and previously held the position of Director of Integrated Risk Operations at Highmark Health. Prior to this role, Dawna was the Privacy & Security Officer and Director of Privacy, Security & Special Investigations at Blue Cross of Northeastern PA from October 2010 to December 2015. Dawna's career in privacy and security management began at Blue Cross of Northeastern Pennsylvania, where a directorial position in the Privacy & Security Office was held from 2008 to 2010. Dawna earned a Bachelor's degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from King's College from 1992 to 1996.
