Krista Tharan is an experienced healthcare leader with over 20 years in clinical team leadership and innovative care model development. Currently serving as the Director of Clinical Programs at Highmark Health, Krista leads interdisciplinary teams to provide community-based and virtual palliative care. Previously, Krista held various roles including RN positions at Inova Health System, UPMC, and The George Washington University Hospital, and served as a CRNP and Manager of Population Health at Heritage Valley Health System. Krista holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Saint Francis University and a Master’s Degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Clarion University of Pennsylvania.
