Melissa Holmes

Melissa Holmes is an experienced healthcare professional with a history of leadership in various operational roles. Currently serving as the Director of Workforce Operations for Palliative Care and previously as the Director of Operations for Enhanced Community Care Management at Highmark Health since May 2017, Melissa has a strong background in defining and implementing process improvements in population health. Prior experience includes roles at Jefferson Health, where responsibilities ranged from managing clinical integration to developing a transitions in care program aimed at reducing readmission rates. Melissa's career began at the Joseph J. Peters Institute as a Lead Therapist and at the Devereux Kanner Center, where Melissa managed casework for adolescents in residential treatment. Melissa holds a Master’s in Public Health from Drexel University and a Bachelor’s in Applied Human Services from Pennsylvania College of Technology.
