Michelle Jester

Michelle Jester, MA, PMP, is a Senior Director of Social Determinants of Health Strategy at Highmark Health, where they focus on improving health outcomes for underserved populations. With over nine years of experience, they have developed organizational capacity for collecting and applying data related to social determinants of health, enhancing integrated care and community transformation. Previously, Michelle served as Executive Director of Social Determinants of Health at America's Health Insurance Plans and held various research roles, including managing significant initiatives and coordinating multi-million dollar projects. They earned a Master’s degree in Culture, Health and Medicine from The Australian National University and a Bachelor’s degree in East Asian Studies from Davidson College.
