Thomas Vankirk

Thomas VanKirk serves as the Executive Vice President, Chief Legal Officer, and Secretary at Highmark Health, a Pittsburgh-based health and wellness enterprise serving approximately 35 million individuals nationwide, since February 2012. Prior to this role, Thomas held the position of CEO at Buchanan Ingersoll and Rooney from 2003 to 2009 and served as COO at Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney PC from 1985 to 2003. Thomas obtained a Doctor of Law (JD) degree from Penn State Dickinson Law between 1967 and 1970 and earned a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from Bucknell University from 1963 to 1967.
