Anna Pool is a versatile creative professional with a strong background in music and theatre. Currently serving as a Curator, Composer & Performer at Spitalfields Music, Anna is also engaged as a Composer & Musical Dramaturg for HighTide's production of More Ghost Stories. As an Associate Director for the UK Tour of Little Shop of Horrors and The Book Thief, Anna contributes to the creation and re-mounting of productions across various venues. Previous roles include Program Manager for the Creative Colchester Partnership, Stage Director for Opera North, and Composer & Musical Director for EASTERN ANGLES THEATRE COMPANY. Anna holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music Theory and Composition from Guildhall School of Music & Drama.

We are one of the UK’s leading new writing theatre companies. Our mission is to develop new theatre productions and programmes that engage and inspire diverse communities in the East of England. We regularly tour high quality productions of new plays across the East of England. We share stories and experiences with our local audiences that provoke, move and inspire them. Our community work brings together world-class storytellers with communities in the East of England to help them share their own stories and expand their creative lives.
