Nigel Burrows

Nigel Burrows is an experienced engineering manager specializing in electrical and technology projects, currently holding the title of Engineering Manager at National Highways since May 2019. Nigel has a strong background in project management with previous roles at telent Technology Services Ltd, where responsibilities included overseeing the NRTS and Inter-Urban projects, and at Balfour Beatty, where Nigel managed civils and technology schemes valued at approximately £20 million. Prior to this, Nigel served as the Additional Services Schemes Manager at telent, focusing on Highways Agency technology works, and worked as a Building Inspector at NHBC, responsible for construction risk management and quality assurance. A former owner of a rural construction company, Nigel holds credentials as a Prince2 Practitioner in project management and has completed several relevant educational qualifications, including an HNC in Construction Studies and City and Guilds in Electrical/Electronic Installation.
