Greg Budge is an accomplished Senior Executive with more than 30 years of success in the mining, oil & gas, and construction industries. Leveraging extensive global experience with regulations and in various cultural environments, Greg is a valuable asset for companies seeking guidance on permits, project planning, and cost reductions. His broad areas of expertise include mineral exploration, petroleum, environmental compliance, health, safety (EHS), feasibility studies, policy, earth sciences geo-morphology, sustainability integration, establishing and embedding sustainability initiatives, compliance monitoring, audits, risk assessment, crisis management, due diligence, government and community relations.

Greg served as Senior Environmental Advisor for Chinese National Petroleum Company, International Chad. He has been responsible for Training Community Relations and Environmental Supervisors and their crews in all facets of managing over 2,000 workers, multiple contractors at one production oil/gas field, one gas/oil field under construction – CPF, pipelines, hydro, camps and one exploration field. Throughout his executive career, Greg has held leadership positions with PMO Global Services Inc.; Glencore; Suncor; Dechant Construction; Red Chris Development Company Ltd.; Procon Mining and Tunneling; Barkerville Gold Mines Ltd.; Yukon Zinc Corporation; Redcorp Ventures; Cross Lake Minerals and Selkirk Resources Ltd.; Nova Gold Galore Mine Project; Cantung Mine; Western Canadian Coal; Kinross Gold, and Roxmark Mines Ltd. During his prior tenure for Yukon Zinc, Greg reviewed all events, problems, change orders etc. regarding earthworks and civil for plan and permit compliance, due diligence, oversight, shortfalls, QA/QC etc. Among his numerous detailed achievements, Greg has a proven history of monitoring HSE compliance, including construction projects relating to waste management, brownfield site remediation, water quality monitoring, monitoring compliance, and Wetlands with HSE management plans.

Greg holds a Bachelor of Environmental Studies / Science from York University, Ontario; Mining Engineering Technology training from Haileybury School of Mine, and Miner Certification in Mining Technology from the British Columbia School of Mines. In addition, Greg has served for the organizations Engineering Procurement Construction (EPC) and Engineering Procurement Management, dealing with Boards and C-level teams.
