Stuart Barnable

Stuart Barnable is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in public affairs and policy. Currently serving as Vice President of Public Affairs at Burson since April 2025 and holding the title of Vice President at Hill & Knowlton since November 2022, Barnable also previously worked as Senior Account Director at the same firm. Prior roles include Director of Operations at Canada's Building Trades Unions from December 2021 to November 2022 and Chief of Staff to the Speaker of the Senate, along with a position as Senior Policy Advisor at the Senate of Canada from September 2011 to December 2021. Barnable's early career includes roles as a Researcher at the Canadian Museum of History and Project Manager at DRE Environmental. An academic background in archaeology and anthropology includes a Master of Arts degree from Memorial University, Newfoundland and Labrador.
