Roy Bates has held various engineering positions in companies such as Hillphoenix, Hamilton Beach Brands Inc., Canon, Inc., Flow Controls, and Neuman U.S.A. Roy is currently a Senior New Product Development Engineer at Hillphoenix. Roy graduated from Virginia Tech with a BS in Mechanical Engineering and a BSME in MEC.
