Hilo Sound develops vibroacoustic sound systems that make music and low frequencies physically felt in the body.

We design and build bass floors, therapy tables, sculptural daybeds and custom installations for wellness spaces, therapists, hotels, retreats, cultural venues and immersive experiences.

Our work combines sound design, hardware development and spatial experience design. Alongside the physical systems, we create original low-frequency music journeys composed specifically for vibroacoustic listening.

Hilo Sound is founded by Joachim Lorck-Schierning, sound designer, musician and producer, and Anja Pi Bjerregaard, business developer and co-founder. Together we explore how sound can move beyond speakers and become something you hear, feel and remember.

From private deep-listening sessions to larger installations, our goal is to create sensory experiences that help people slow down, reconnect with the body and experience music in a new way.
