Andreas Lackner

Andreas Lackner is the Vice President of Operations and Regional Head for Sub-Sahara Africa and the Indian Ocean at Hilton, where they lead efforts to support performance and growth in the region. With a diverse background spanning multiple countries, Andreas transitioned from a chef to various roles in the hotel industry, including Sales & Marketing, Revenue Management, and Project Management. They were part of the pre-opening team at Maritim Frankfurt and have held leadership positions at notable companies such as Starwood Hotels and Hilton. After a brief sabbatical for personal development, including courses at Cornell University, Andreas has continued to expand their expertise, calling themselves a "Generalist in Hotel business" and a "professional Hotel guest" due to their extensive travels.
