Gary Steffen

Gary Steffen serves as the Global Category Head for Full Service and Global Head for Hilton Hotels & Resorts and Signia by Hilton at Hilton since July 2020, bringing nearly 30 years of hospitality experience, with over 15 of those years spent at Hilton. Previously, Steffen launched and led the development and operations of Canopy by Hilton, the company's lifestyle hotel brand. Other roles at Hilton include General Manager at Hilton Austin Airport, Director of Brand Standards & Strategic Initiatives for DoubleTree by Hilton, and Vice President of Brand Performance Support, where contributions included the successful global launch of the DoubleTree and Curio brands. Steffen's expertise encompasses operations, business performance strategies, and enhancing guest experiences across over 550 Hilton properties. Education was obtained from the University of Wisconsin Stout between 1987 and 1989.
